1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TopBusinessOwners.com ("the Site") or submitting an application for a recognition listing, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Recognition Applications

Submitting an application does not guarantee recognition. All applications are subject to review. Every qualifying business owner in good standing will be accepted. We reserve the right to decline applications at our sole discretion.

By submitting an application, you represent that all information provided is accurate and complete, and that you have authority to act on behalf of the business.

3. Fees and Payment

Recognition listing fees are annual. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable recognition fee. All fees are non-refundable once your listing has been finalized and activated.

Featured Owner (City Spotlight) fees are charged per city and per business category, and are also non-refundable once activated. Availability is strictly first-come, first-served — only one Featured Owner per city per category.

4. Profile Content

By granting permission to use your website assets, you represent that you own or have the rights to all content, including photos, logos, and descriptions. You grant TopBusinessOwners.com a non-exclusive license to display this content in connection with your recognition profile.

5. Recognition Plaque and Awards

The complimentary recognition plaque will be shipped to the address provided in your application. Shipping timing may vary. The Annual Awards & Recognition Ceremony invitation is included with qualifying listings. Event details will be communicated separately.

6. Directory Launch

All recognition profiles are scheduled to debut in October 2026. This timeline is our current plan and is subject to change. We will notify recognized owners of any material changes to the launch timeline.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Impersonate any person or business
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TopBusinessOwners.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your listing.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
